Cozy Gatlinburg Hideaway with Hot Tub and Air Hockey

  : The sauna was very nice! The atmosphere was good, and everything was super cozy, the bed and couch! The kids enjoyed the air hockey table. It was nice being so close to Ober Gatlinburg, we would park there and ride the shuttle downtown and back (since the tram was down). We liked that there was an Xbox there, they should mention it in the listing so people can bring games if they want. We didn't know ahead of time that it was there, and would have been nice to use on the cold evenings when we couldn't use the hot tub.
  : The main "issue" was that the hot tub wasn't hot enough to really call a hot tub until the last day we were there. I understand why they change the water between guests, which IS nice. But if it takes that long to heat up, then they need to find other options to make it heat up faster or cut the price down for what your receiving. When we arrived on Wednesday (for our 4 night stay) the temperature of the hot tub was 67 degrees (because I assume it was changed that morning) we turned the thermostat up to the highest it would go (104 degrees) by the next morning it was only up to 86 degrees...so more like a "Luke warm bath"...The owner did tell me the day we got there that one trick was to empty a little bit of water out and add hot water to it. So on the night of the 2nd day I actually added hot water that I boiled on the stove, and still had to wait until the morning of the 3rd day for it to be up to 97 degrees. This was disappointing because the weather was cold those days, and we planned on relaxing in the hot tub those days. And we couldn't do that! It was finally 103 degrees the morning of our last day there (Saturday). I feel like $1,100 for 4 nights was a bit pricey considering we couldn't enjoy everything. Other small things were...#1- The single cup coffee maker was clogged or something because I would pour a whole mug of water in the back and it would drip out and give me about the equivalent of a "shot" of coffee. They did have a regular coffee maker...BUT, I had no coffee filters. #2- The valve on the shower head was messed up because water would still spray from the shower head when running the faucet for bath water...and the same way when taking a shower the faucet would still run with the shower head...which isn't a huge deal, I just barely had any water pressure that way. The last thing I would mention is that the driveway is kind of scary, if you have anxiety at ALL don't drive up it. LOL...

  : Very peaceful and close to downtown Gatlinburg. Love the hot tub. The driveway was very high incline. But my husband is a truck driver so he could handle it. Clean environment inside and out.

  : the property inside as soon as i walked in was nice and looked clean overall it was a good experience
  : what i didnt like is the hot tub took awhile to heat up a whole day but thats minor no biggie but every towel i used was dirty they all had like makeup or mascara on them they were probably washed but not looked at after i had to go to the store and buy my own and wash cloths were faded and outdated my car also wouldnt fit up the driveway it is very steep they shouldve mentioned that in the add i dont think any car could make it up that driveway so therefore i had to climb up the steep drieveway with all my luggage me and my wife and thats what sucked about the trip luckily the house was nice or i woulda been even more upset overall it was a nice place and good experience at the location id rate it a 6-7/10 i would probably stay again in the future Probably!!

  : All the appliances was dated, most of the channels was locked on the television, and the hill on the driveway was very very steep as H and I have a jeep and it had a hard time climbing.

  : pros- the property was nice; the pics are up to date; it was a nice size property. it had wood burning fireplace. they do change water in hot tub after reach renter; but that is also con; see below!
  : cons- DRIVEWAY! even with an AWD suv we cld not get up it going forward; we had to back in every time and still that was a struggle. if it was a straight up it may not be bad; but you have to go up and then to left and up more! it gave me major anxiety! HOT TUB- we cld not use until our 3rd day there bc the water did not heat up until then. KING SIZE BED- they need a new one! the current one has some many dips in it; it was lumpy.

  : Beautiful location. Bed was very soft. Everything it showed was there.
  : The drive way. Extremely steep. If we did not have a 4x4, there would be no way of getting up.
